Monday Reading Task: 

On a Monday, your reading task will be to complete the following D.I.A.L activity:

Please answer the following questions about the picture: 

D (Deduction):- When do you think this photograph was taken? Why do you think this?

I (Inference):-  Who do you think the children are? Explain why you think this.

A (Authorial Intent):- Why has the photographer chosen to include the 3 children in their picture?

L (Literal):- How many children are there in the picture?

This week we will be using ‘OAK ACADEMY’ to look at ‘Instructions’.

Today’s task is retrieving information using a set of instructions.

This week we are going to continue to be looking at SHAPE AND SYMMETRY .

In this lesson, you will be revising the names of different types of angles. We will be looking at what angles have in common with each other and what makes them different. We will estimate angles and learn the properties of various types of angles. We will use angle makers to experiment with different amounts of degrees and investigate the angles around us.
