On a Monday, your reading task will be to complete the following D.I.A.L activity:

Please answer the following questions about the picture:

D (Deduction):- What is inside the spaceship? Why do you think this?

I (Inference):- How do you think the boy is feeling? What makes you think this?

A (Authorial Intent):- Why did the director decide to use a black background?

L (Literal):- Where is the boy standing?

This week we will be using ‘OAK ACADEMY’ to look at ‘Newspaper Reports’.

Today’s task is retrieving facts from a newspaper report.

This week we are going to continue to be looking at PATTERNS AND SEQUENCES.

In this lesson, you will be looking at identifying numbers and how they are recorded in different number systems. We will look for patterns and familiarities with number systems we already know and use this information to help write a variety of numbers in the new scripts.
